OT is a consumer goods company that produces a diverse array of daily essentials. What started as a traditional health drink has evolved into a modern enterprise dedicated to quality and innovation. Our products, which include food, beverages, and personal care items from brands like Formula, Tango, Teh Gelas, and more, are a staple in Indonesian households. With a focus on meeting consumer needs, our high-quality products have earned national and international recognition and are now available globally.
History

1948 OT began its journey in Indonesia with traditional health drinks. In those early years, public acceptance of its products was good, and OT expanded rapidly. Hence, OT built a second factory in Jakarta to support its operations in Semarang. 1984 To meet evolving consumer needs, OT invested in production facilities and new business units, launching toothpaste and toothbrushes under the FORMULA brand. A year later, OT established ADA, a holding company focusing on business development and product diversification. OT appointed PT. Arta Boga Cemerlang as its sole distributor nationwide. 1995 ADA was renamed ORANG TUA in 1995. The rich brand history and core values had rooted well in the Indonesian society, which presented a huge advantage for the company. After changing the name, the business developed rapidly. 2004 The ORANG TUA (OT) logo was modernized to better reflect OT as a dynamic, energetic and youthful consumer goods company, becoming a source of pride for all its employees. OT opened new business units and new products: • Food (wafer, biscuits, chocolate, candies, nuts, and desserts) • Beverages (ready to drink tea and healthy drinks) • Personal Care (dental and mouth care, hair products, and razors) 2011 PT CASA VERDE INDONESIA (CVI) was established as OT's entry into the hygiene and sanitation business. PT CVI serves internal entities (offices and factories) as well as external ones such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other institutions. 2016 OT expanded its business into the mineral water market with the Crystalline brand. Crystalline was initially launched in PET bottles and has since continued to improve with the introduction of cup and gallon packaging options. 2019 OT entered the milk business with the Tango brand. Utilizing ASEPTIC technology and UHT processing, Tango milk is available in PET bottles and cartons (Tetra Pak). 2020 The Covid-19 pandemic provided an opportunity for PT CVI to expand its market by selling liquid hand sanitizer under the brand PRIMA PROTECT+. PT CVI is continuously expanding its product line to include gel hand sanitizer, face masks, hand soap, wet wipes, and antiseptic bar soap.
